Kenny Johnson
Kenny Johnson leads The Chosen Ones with his electric powers and determined attitude. He is kind and strong, but struggles with arrogance. Seeking redemption for his past immaturity, Kenny decides to live for Jesus and use his powers for good, aiming to stop the Dark Figure and others who misuse their abilities. He lives with his wealthy parents in Queens, who he faces a strained relationship with. Kenny is learning to shed his arrogance and become a Godly man with the support of his team.
Lorena Alvarez
Lorena Alvarez is Puerto Rican and has light powers. She’s a loving and gracious young woman who lives in Manhattan. She is dating Andres Dominguez, who she thinks is perfect, which makes her think she is unworthy to date him. Lorena also seems to have a personal connection with the Dark Figure since her powers counteract his. She’s determined to discover who this Dark Figure is.
Mark Grover
Mark Grover possesses environmental-adaptability powers, granting him different abilities based on his surroundings. Despite his involvement with a street gang in the Bronx, a situation that was forced upon him, he longs to leave and care for his family. The gang offers easy money, and the intimidating leader, Deshawn Harris, keeps Mark in line. However, The Chosen Ones offer Mark a chance to escape the gang and turn his life around if he genuinely desires it.
Zachary Morales
Zachary Morales has teleportation and precognition powers. Raised in a single-mother household in Brooklyn, he is an extrovert who likes to have fun and enjoy life, and is the complete opposite of his older brother, Brendan, who he has a sibling rivalry with. This causes friction within their family. After seeing his brother rebel and leave the family to live for his selfish gain, Zachary has decided to use his powers for good and take care of his mother. He’s also noticed that other people in the city have gained powers as well and is keeping watch, preparing for what’s to come.
Ashley Reese
Ashley Reese has fire powers. Growing up with her parents and sisters in Staten Island, her athletic interests garnered her more attention from her parents, causing tension with her sisters, and leading Ashley to insecurity issues. Now Ashley has set out to find her identity again, but her powers and a mysterious figure who is intrigued with her may pose obstacles. Ashley’s fiery powers and hot-headed attitude, mixed with her combat abilities, make her a force to be reckoned with.
Benjamin Graham
Benjamin Graham has mind powers consisting of telepathy and telekinesis. He is kind, intelligent, and fun and is the guardian of his younger brother, Jeremy Graham. He and his brother grew up on Long Island with their loving parents. However, due to governmental issues involving their parents, the brothers had to flee and eventually made their way to Manhattan. Now, they have to figure out what exactly happened with their parents and have also encountered the mysterious Dark Figure, who seems to be pursuing them for some reason. Benjamin has to decide if he and his brother will stay in the city to fight back and put an end to this or if they should flee again. Perhaps there are others out there who are more willing to help them in this fight.
Jeremy Graham
Jeremy Graham, the younger brother of Benjamin Graham, possesses telepathy and telekinesis. Still in high school and struggling to control his newly-acquired abilities, Jeremy is encouraged by Benjamin to live as normal a life as possible. As a result, he typically stays home when he's not at school or training. However, the Dark Figure seems to have plans to use Jeremy for his own purposes.
